That sounds fun!!Good morning! I’ll join you with a cup of tea. Going on an adventure with the grandsons and their parents. There is a kite festival nearby that we are going to see.
Oh, wow, that sounds cool. I haven't flown a kite in decades. I think we have a great spot on our property to do it, too: up on a hill, and there's usually a breeze. There is a kite festival nearby that we are going to see.
It got rained out a couple of hours after we got there, but we saw some pretty cool kites, and the older grandkids (the 3 pack of granddaughters and their parents came as well) all got to fly kites. That sounds fun!!
That stinks it rained but glad they got to see some kites at least and that thing is awesome!!! Wow!!It got rained out a couple of hours after we got there, but we saw some pretty cool kites, and the older grandkids (the 3 pack of granddaughters and their parents came as well) all got to fly kites.
Grandpa built and brought a “drum set” for 3-year old GS.

It started out with just the cans. The pot lids were added after we got here, and then it grew to this:

For some reason, the parents want it outside… (They live in town. I bet the neighbors will be thrilled!) GS refers to it as his “Glockenspiel”. (Because apparently true xylophones are made of wood, and glockenspiels are made of metal. Yep, I got schooled by a 3-year old.)
I absolutely love that!!!It got rained out a couple of hours after we got there, but we saw some pretty cool kites, and the older grandkids (the 3 pack of granddaughters and their parents came as well) all got to fly kites.

Happy belated birthday to your DH. It is sad how nursing homes are run. I worked in one before i became a nurse. Sometimes i had 25 people to care for, including feeding some of them. They never seem to have enough staff.
Unfortunately, I think that does play a big part.I always felt the lack of staff was related to the almighty dollar.
