BYC Café

I have quite a few friends/family member who suffer from depression 😬 many say exercise is a big part of keeping it under control ( of course when you’re down in the dumps the last thing you feel like is getting up and moving) but exercise to keep from getting down in the dumps works ( of course not all the time) I also read an article about correlation between gut bacteria and mental health …maybe in the future, what we eat can „lift our spirits“ or, yucky to read but maybe also later an option, getting healthy bacteria into your intestine to fight the depression …

@MotherofOrpies

Is there any way you could send the article or a link to the article as I feel I could learn something to help my hubby?

13 pages Cafe to catch up. The internet left my computer for a few days.
Then busy as can be, I fell last night more like tripped over dead hose piece.
Why I ask was it still here. I am fine little right knee ticked off.
I am so glad that you didn't land on a stick of fire wood and break a pair of rib bones....

Sounds like the voice of experience…
Yes it is. We've had some rain now and this Alabama clay can get really slick. I'm not wanting a rematch the ground now much less a log about 8" in diameter. One drop of coffee down the wrong pipe is a disaster right now. I could drink a pot of the real stuff right now but it wouldn't phase me with the meds in my veins.
