We picked up hubby's scrip, and instead of 90 day supply, it was only 30. He specifically asked his Doc to make it 90, and Doc was happy to oblige. Yes, it makes more sense. Yes, it's a few dollars cheaper. And so the first installment was for 90 days.
Well, the insurance company won't cover 90 days now. Just 30. And instead of enough refills to take hubby to his next physical, it's enough to get him to February. Oh, and they are the ones who do auto-refill, so that is why the pharmacy didn't text us it was ready.
I will be calling the insurance company and asking if there is a good, logical, sensible reason for this change. Are they hoping he'll die in between refills, and they will be out less money? Are they hoping he'll "forget" that he needs these, and they can stop paying for it? (Leading to him possibly dying; see reason above.)
