Our #2 child beat lymphoma about 14 years ago. His gift to life came from his #2 child in the way of a bone marrow transplant.I could do without the tree, but hubby wants it, so we do. We'll put it up Christmas Eve, and then I'll have to take it down mid-January, just to get it out of the way.
We stopped buying gifts many years ago, but still give small things to friends, homemade goodies, usually.
A couple years ago, we did spend some money on gifts, but it was a very grateful Christmas, full of gratitude, as a dear friend (we call her our daughter) had beaten lymphoma.
Good morning all. I just hit the go button on the coffee pot and it will be ready shortly. Sorry but all the sinnamnon bread is gone.
