Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee DL!

It's a bit drizzly this morning, but not enough that I won't have to water the garden again this evening - we should get more tomorrow! I had the best sleep I've had in a week or so last night, hoping for more over the weekend. Busy organizing the summer and finishing all I have to get done before heading to sea! I'll be 100Nm from the mainland (see the red dot on the right in the image below).

I'm heading down to the Owego Strawberry Festival with my nieces. I need one of them to handle one of the Dobermans. We're going early to try to get a close spot because of my limited mobility.

Last 'cool' day before the heat dome descends.
Got down to 54 last night, was nice to sleep with covers and put clothes on this morning.

Still have a clucky out there, was hoping she's snap out of it before the heat wave...might have to dunk her.

I did! So did the dogs.
Bella managed to steal 2 fries she found on the road.
They all got to lick out the bowl after I finished my strawberry shortcake.
Piper did GREAT meeting strangers and towards the end wouldn't pull back at all when someone pet her. She's finally figured out that all people that I let her greet won't shish kabob her.

But now my back/leg are done in so I'm going to get them in their least painful position and have an afternoon nap before I go out and cut the grass.
