Anesthesia stuck the crap out of me too. They said I had the worst veins they'd seen in a long time. But the pair was wonderful and sympathetic and got the job done.

When I woke up in PACU I had ZERO left side pain!! And I was in the fetal position on that side. I started chatting away with my PACU nurse and they rolled me back to my room. I had my IV removed quickly, they gave me a banana nut muffin and a cup of coffee. Then I had to pee and walked easily by myself. Then sis and I took a 3-minute stroll around the unit. I can sit on my own.

The staff is calling me their miracle patient. They released me and I'm on my way home now!

Sounds like when my sis had her hip replacement.
The harsh pain she'd been dealing with for months on end was gone, tho surgical and PT pain still had to be dealt with.
