BYC Café

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
After another go round of our "breezes" last night, we have a week of
fabulous weather with a dusting on Christmas. DS$ has 2 wrestling duals tomorrow and then he is heading home. :yesss:
No doc appt runs until after mid-Jan, so what on earth will I do?
Yeah..., not a problem!
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

1-4" of snow here overnight/tomorrow. This is not lake effect, so we should actually get some snow here. Might have a white Christmas, might not.

We're going out to early dinner with some friends. This is the outing that was supposed to happen a week ago, but hubby had severe intestinal distress, so we didn't go. He is forbidden to eat Stove Top Stuffing for lunch today.

I threw it all away, so he can't.

Good Morning All,
Sunshine and blue sky! Just exactly the definition of perfection.
My first cup of coffee this morning, chickens are quiet so far so bless my chickens. They were screaming their lungs out yesterday which raised my blood pressure.
They must have realised that their rooster had gone and so there is a new order to be established. Lot of fighting yesterday.
I am waiting for the rain water to evaporate from the soaked lawn, it might take a week.
We looked at a timber kid play house for our 4 little bantams, it is a lot of work twisting the play house into a coop. I am looking forward to have a nice coop for my little hens.
Japanese bantam such a tiny little bird, but her lung is a mighty lung, the pitch is so high that it is hard to ignore. I bet Japanese bantam rooster crows just as lound as any big rooster.
What a wonderful day all.

We had a great dinner and a white knuckle drive home. The roads were sheets of ice where cars had packed down the very wet snow. We had to turn around twice; couldn't see why traffic was stopped, but surmise it was something spun out and stuck going up/down an icy hill.

We're home safely. So very glad I don't have to go to work tomorrow.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
Temps have started to drop.
Dogs need a long hard run today because I doubt Piper will last long on the tomorrow and Sunday run when we will be in the teens.
Curious to see how the pond holds up when we go to near zero Sunday night.
