4-5" of snow out there. It won't last through Christmas Day with the coming warm up, but it's pretty now.

We still have a little snow left up here on the hill. All the stuff that melted is now refrozen as ice under the top layer. We are supposed to get another dusting tonight and remain below freezing until Christmas. So maybe we'll have a white Christmas for the first time in a long time.
I had a nice productive morning. Fed dogs, did my full body workout, did chickens, loaded wood racks, made breakfast and did the dishes.
I came out to the kitchen this morning to a huge flocked pine/pinecone/bell/ornament wreath in it's original box on my counter. C works at Sam's Club and regularly comes homes with things he got at a huge discount. I have no place for it except maybe outside in the future screened in room. Maybe I'll put it up out there and see what I think.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! It stayed above freezing last night, lovely heat wave!
DH and I had to redo the chicken sunroom wrap from the "breezes."
I think that with 2 people , it is now on there for the duration and I suggested a different way to strap it all down. Time will tell.

The Magpies are staking out this year's nesting tree. I think this morning, the parents are seriously trying to kick last year's brood away from their personal space. They have been on and off stealing sticks from the old nest and bringing them to the new tree. They are fun to watch and wonderful predator watchouts. The chickens have queued into their alarm call.
