BYC Café

I be feeling so much better.
I got everything on the list done except clean the pond and run the dogs. I also added wash and hang a load of clothes to the list. Check.

I'm going to wait on installing the mini split line because it's supposed to rain this afternoon.
And little Miss Stinky pants got a bath because she decided Mom's list wasn't quite long enough so she rolled in something stinky!

Good Morning

Coffee is ready and tea as well

When I read and look at photos of beautiful garden, fruits/veg, chickens and all yard work on BYC, it motivated me to do a bit more.
I told myself to just pot 1 plant today, slowly moving like a turtle I did it, and then I moved on to do another thing, slowly my garden/chicken work get done bit by bit. BYC inspired me and get me moving more.

One thing that I can not improve is having such beautiful big chicken run and coop like all that I saw on BYC. I do not think we have that big coop combine run in Australia. To get people to build a coop like what I see on BYC, it will cost between $5,000 - $10,000 over here. We certainly can not do it ourselves, just imagine the tools it required that we need to buy. Anything taller than 2m must get approval from our local council as well.

We had rain late yesterday and look like more is coming today. My broody hen off broody for 2 weeks and yesterday she returned to laying egg again. She lays 3/4 egg a week. She is an Australorp Bantam....so now I will get almost 3 eggs a day.😄

Have a great day.

Edit to add: I also love the baking and the cooking on BYC. I love it and love it to look at the competition chicken photos, I just love that! It eased my wanting to get more chickens.
