Coffee is here....

Planning holiday is so exciting!

I woke up before 4am this morning suffering from ache and pain. I forgot to take my magnesium tablet for a few days now and hence the consequences. I hate being old because it comes with pain!!! Suddenly everything hurt! Certain food causes certain pain, it was not like that when I was young, I used to jump, run and now I walk just a bit faster than a snail.

Today I will move my wild berries plant to a bigger pot.

We sat in the outdoor room for almost 8 hours taking and planning. I'm exhausted!

But we have an itinerary with places to stay picked out at each stop. I need to reprint my passport application with projected travel dates for early December to speed up it's processing as I need my passport to book the flights.
We'll fly out of Dulles to Bangkok and stay in Bangkok for 3 days. Then fly to Chiang Rai in northern Thailand and stay 3 days.
Then fly to Luang Prabang, Laos and stay for 3 days.
Then take the high speed train to Vang Vieng, Laos for 3 days.
Then take the train back to Luang Prabang and fly to Da Nang and get a taxi to Hoi An, 3 days.
Fly back to Bangkok, stay another night and fly home the next day.
The entire trip with travel, lodging, excursions, food and entertainment will be about $2,400-$2,500.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I found a tiny pile of black feathers in the pen on the way to feed the flock this morning. The pile looked like it was the result of a predator hit.

The only bird small enough to have those feathers is Astrid's lone black pullet. I checked her this morning and she seems just fine. I did see her sparring with one of her hatch mates yesterday. Maybe that's where they came from. If that's the case, she got her butt kicked.
