BYC Café

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I need to pull the pond pump and drain the recirc lines today when the temp hits a bit above freezing.

I've also decided to cut the pre strung lights off my tree and replace them with 6 new 100 light strands, for 2 reasons. One, the bulbs keep burning out and knocking out large sections of lights and two, the bulbs are incandescent. The new ones are LED.

2 unpleasant jobs.

Couldn’t you just leave them in place but not plug them in?

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
Well, there is snow out there.
We got 10 inches on the last one and there is a possible 6 inches today but the Breezes (60mph+) will make it hard to measure. I bought some snow fence to put up and that will have to take place on Sunday.
Last night, we went to our GD's choir performance and then got some Cold Stone after. Yum!
Penny, Hugs to you... :hugs :hugs

No. I use an external pump.
Sorry. I meant the incandescent Christmas tree light! Cutting them off seems like a chore and I thought you could just add the new lights and leave the old ones in place.

incandescent Christmas tree lights!
Direct quotes sure do help with clarity!

I don't want all the extra wiring in the way of hooking the new strands along the branches.

Yes - I didn't even see the possibility of confusion until you responded, which is why I laughed (at myself).
Got it on the lights.

Today is 'rabies clinic' day for the township - free vaccination. I have 3 dogs that need to go.
I use them whenever my dogs are due. Saves me the $35 office visit and $38 fee for the vaccine. Our clinics have a 'suggested donation' amount of $5 per shot. I have no problem giving them that. The vet volunteers her/his time and the vaccines are donated.
