Good Morning

Having my big cup of tea now, had coffee at 4am already. The weather is very cold over here now, the north and west of our state are having heavy rain and flash flooding.

To some degree being on BYC eases my chicken addiction, some days I spend hours looking at chicken photos in BYC and I am completed. I am so addicted to chickens already, quails really are not chickens...

A few days left of 2025 is having me busy finishing a few matters, lots of emails to write/contact to be made to those that I cringe at the thought of it. New year is also a big sales day over here, whatever left from all the sales before that. Then we will have end of financial year sales at end of June.

The tv has been running about all the things that happened and still happening in 2025...I wish they just put on many live chickens instead.

We stopped go out on new year eve celebration many moons ago, but watch the firework on tv. The next morning watch new year celebration around the world as the clock tick over......Our tv here show your Big Apple new year celebration.

Same over here, the news is constant sad and hopeless news. Whenever I see chickens running around on tv I feel happy. As I am writing this it occurred to me that I will write to some of the tv channels and ask them to put something positive in between their reporting on hopelessness.

So sad you get the same thing there. Seems like they don`t want us to feel good! They rarely report anything positive anymore. That`s one reason I mostly watch youtube. I can watch chickens running around all I want!

Over here the news are bad nationally and internationally. We are living in a global village, everything impact us in some ways directly and indirectly. We are traveling extensively now so everything just...

I too watch youtube about chickens, I love the people with homestead and of course I run around on BYC with my fine 10 fingers looking at chicken photos...

I collect throw away green at the vegetable section in the shop. I walk to the checkout and show them, one time the checkout person and I ended up having lovely conversation about our chickens...what breed chickens you have, how many...never too many

I don't watch it. I scroll through local and national highlights but wont' click on anything I know will just be negative or politically charged.
