Very interesting idea. I'll start thinking of some ideas on how we could do this and run it by the mods and community.

I'd be glad to help anyone out too. I live in Rhinelander, WI which is about 4 hours south of Madison just in case no body is familiar with Rhinelander "Home of the Hodag" and where I'm located.

Tada... I've already got a SUPER easy / good idea!

We should use the BYC Frappr map here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=789

That shows which members live close to you and you could either PM them through Frappr or come back to the forum and look up their userID here.

Kills two birds (can I say that here) with one stone. Leverages a system we already have in place and makes it easy to map everyone by location!

Maybe consider switching houses? This was the main theme of the movie "holiday" where two people switched houses for their vacation. Assume the responsibilities of the other's house and enjoya new location for a little bit!

Oops. I just now re-read my post from yesterday and realized that I said I live about 4 hours south of Madison. That is wrong. Madison is about 4 hours south of me.
