We operate a small non-profit ministry called Sparrow Ministry. Money is always a problem with taking care of our flock. However our flock had grown and feeding twice a day is not an option. I have a full time job and could not keep up so I searched the local Family Dollar store and found these items to build a feeder to hold 20lb of feed for a LESS THAN $10. I have used this for several months and it works great.

The treadle feeder is really cool, but I could see my hens using it to knock our roo's block off!
