Hello all -
Finally managed to get the internet back on here at home.
It's been kind of a bad month. My Gramma passed away a week ago Thursday. I've been trying to get my mom through it. She's lived with her for 13 years and Mom's nursed her through the last 4 years of her fight with breast cancer.
Car problems, unexpected expenses, and well, the internet was the one that had to wait to be paid. It's good to be back.
Anyway, I gave my bag of squares to my husband to mail Tuesday, the 28th, and the idjit still has them in the back seat of his car. I could smack him. I'll buzz up to the post office in the morning and get them out pirority mail.

Mangled sorry to hear about yer grandma, and no worries on the squares, I am still waiting to hear back from 6 more people anyways but once I get the last box here and sorted its all taping and gift wrap and stamps all over the place! LOL
so excited, I am going to wait for the first snow, which shouldn't be to far off with all this cold weather, to start on my friendship robe. thats what i have decided to call it since most of the squares are coming from all my great byc hooker pals!
well haley got here bad tooth pulled today and I felt so bad when she showed it to me, I mean she brushes her teeth and flosses, but somehow that one just go t bad, there was a hole in the side of the tooth the size of a bebe, and it was all nasty and black in side of it. I felt so bad for her, but I mean I did all I could do, but somehow it just got bad. but know its out and it was a baby tooth so no major damage and she is starting to feel alot better now, so that takes a bunch of stress off my shoulders, we have learned now that we have to just keep a really close eye on her teeth as the tend to good bad really easy. well ladies I am awful tired, as I drove nearly 260 miles today to I am going to go and crash I will post an updated list tomorrow morning or evening when evey I can find time to get to the puter after all the chores are done so ya'll take care and I will see you in the morning Maw.
So sorry about your Gramma Em, happy to have you back with us though. Hope your world turns right side up soon
Maw, that tooth sound ick!! Poor kid, must feel alot better to have it out!! Scoot, you do remain the Queen girl, lol!! Good Morning, fellow Hookers.
Gotta wait to get out of the driveway to the post office. =/ Our southern acreage is being timbered out and there are FIVE logging trucks in the driveway waiting to be loaded.
It could be a while. They stop work at 3, it's an Amish crew, so when I drive down to get my girl off the bus, we'll go straight to the post office.
I'm working on a rainbow afghan for my boy right now. I've got 12 blue grannies and 4 purple grannies left to hook, then I'll begin to piece it.
I'll definitely post pics when it's done.

Sounds like ya need a push bumper for your vehicle just to get you day on its way , Maybe if ya pushed your way through it would make ya fell better. I know it would if it was me.
Maw ouch, so glad that was a baby tooth, I know what ya mean about wondering how they get that way, when they brush , floss and rinse. My son had trouble and my nephew add to get his teeth caped when he was 4 years old. It was from the iron they had in the formula when he was a baby , the addatives put in the water systems and the amoxacillin (sp?) my son took for his ear infections and strep throat he always got. At least that is what they Dentists had told us. So it may just be a combination of other things that have contributed to it. Of course my son is 29 now and my nephew is 25. My boy still needs to do some work on his but he just doesn't have the insurance coverage for it.

well I am off to go do some internet christmas shopping early, I worked my booty off today working on redoing my big chicken coop for my silkies, and other hens so I am kinda worn out and my thumbs hurt from all the hammering I did on them! LOL! oh well as long as my chickkidies are warm and happy, I took an old 10 hole metel nest box, the kind that is slanted so the eggs will roll out to the front for collection and refurbished (sp?) it. it was all nasty and covered in cobwebs and 100 year ole chicken poop LOL and I cleaned it off and painted the roof green and the front nest holes and inside the nests red and then painted the perches white and then painted around each egg hole and nest door a white trim and put numbers on each nest room and it is now my broody hen Inn. I will get pic posted tomorrow of it. I sure hope they will like it. so that took most of my day, tomorrow is moving the silkies hens in to the coop and attaching a small wired in run for them for the winter. so I am trying to get ready. it is going to be rainy tomorrow so I will work on the house and hooking some dish cloth, and more christmas presents. well i will go now an hope to here form out MIA's soon chat with ya'll later Maw.
