Hey ya'll, se I don't know where you find all the time to do everything you do. I am not really on here that much but some times I will get on while my mother is on. Hope ever one is doing well, and haveing a ton of fun. I can't weight till I get my first jury duty, I know a lot of ppl say that it is booring and a waste of time but I think that it is a right of privlage when your 18, just like voteing. later ya'll

Plenty of room on the couch with me. I should have put the ice on my head too. I think I am collecting lumps on my head. DH plans on padding the door frame soon...hopefully this weekend. I know I am going to forget until he does and still bump my head. Good luck on continuing to put the smack down on that dentist. Sheesh. Maybe you can get a petition started or something with all those other patients that are going to the new dentist.

It's egg day tomorrow. I don't have as many eggs this time because I sold some in advance and I gave some away. We have been getting about 18 a day from my 23 ladies. *knock on wood* I am planning the Retired Hens' Suite soon for those non layers who seem to keep getting picked on...

It is really hard to find a good dentist, let alone one for kids. I agree with the others, go to another one & see what they say. As a child, I was one that ate a ton of sugar (still do

) & I had a ton of cavaties, caps & crowns.

I don't remember who asked about the "chaining at the end, what it does" or if they got an answer but, here's my 2 cents on it. It acts as a stitch. If you didn't do the chain, it would be like missing a stitch. The amunt of chains you do all depends on the stitch you are doing. One chain for single crochet, 3 chains for double crochet. Hope this helped, if you didn't get your answer & if you did oh well.

Thanks No Chicks! I didn't know why there were the different numbers of chains or for the different types of crochets.

cool. It also explains why I was having better luck getting straighter edges with only one chain since I am using single crochet! before I was just chaining willy nilly, because I had no idea what it was doing. and I was getting all bumpy...

anyone else want to join me in insomnia-land? Actually I wouldn't recommend it.

I am not exactly pulling an all nighter here, since I was asleep, now I just can't get back to sleep.

The Queen is the only other one I know that likes all-nighters Shanah! Me, I am old and like my sleep, lol!! Good luck with the egg sales..seems you sure do need more chickens!!!

Walmart really has beenmarking their yarns down all week ya'll, you need to check sporadically, I got the last two skiens of a pretty veriagated lionbrand jiffy wool yarn for a $1.50 a skien yesterday..last two..they must have gone in a hurry, nice yarn. They also had those 7oz rolls of Vanna Yarn in the gorgeous earthly fall colors I love for $4.97 and I bought a few of the ver. one and the brick color to match it last week and none of them were left yesterday. Alot of the bernat is on sale for $1.50 but I have alot of those wild colors left from that confetti afghan I did for Travis' girlfriend , the shaggy afghan with the iincredibly loud colors, back in the summer..all that yarn is on sale now...some of the cotton sugar and cream in the summery colors, the yellow and white is $1.00, I have a good bit of the cotton too though..anyway..worth checking out..I did luck out at a different Walmart and found one skein of Autumn red Caron for $1.50...I am doing that retro circles afghan next..the one on the Caron site but I am changing the teal blue to the autumn red. Ya'll check that pattern...very cool ...caron.com


Hey..during my lunchbreak from juryduty..or rather..jury room magazine reading...I went to walmart and got Nights in Rodanthe....a very sweet read...a bit gushy and mushy and hard to believe but if you don't analyze it, it was a sweet love story..short too only about 200 pages so easy to finish, like a little dessert snack!! I kep seeing Richard Gere and Diane Lane when I was reading, lol...Richard Gere...not a bad image to keep seeing there!!! Aged nicely like fine wine...mmmmmmm

oh for a kilt.........

Athena...SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS!!!...that is a direct order soldier!!! We ARE sending you a Christmas care package..whether you like it or not, lol!!!! You also need to post those battle bracelet instructions please....haven't had a chance to look for the parachute cord but I bet some of that nylon cord at walmart would work in the yarn section..shoulda looked dang...

Ok my Mistresses of the yarn filled night the deadline approachth's so we need to get those hooks to flyin, so no more midnight broom rides until we get most of those squares done! LOL. well I have invented me a new breakfast meal its white chocolate strawberry yoplait yogart with GrapeNuts cereal mixed in, I love it. and its health. we will be off this weekend to go camping if the Dh is feeling better this morning so you might not hear from me until sunday evening. So I will leave Scrambled in charge of cracking that whip for the next two days, but don't let em get out of line now scramble, no more kilt pics till I see squares! LOL LOL.

I will post you some of the yummieist kilt candy once the deadline hits cuz ya'll are just to great. I love ya'll! oh no I'am all lovey dovey this morning DH ain't going to like me today. Hes not the lovey dovey huggy kissy kinda men, he is the hard core mountain type man. I told his mother the other day that he reminds me of a big ole grizzly bear, he has broad shoulders that are really muscular, and then a staut slender bottom half and when he walks his arm carriage is kinda bowed out like a attack bear. ITs so cute to me thought. I love to hug on him. and he'll sit there for a few mins and let me then he says "Ok thats enough your sufficating me" LOL just like a bear would. tooo cute one of these days I get a good pic of him ( he hates to get pics) and post it for ya. well ladies hope everyone has a great day and I will post ya'll later maw.

Everybody have a great warm weekend relaxing! Or at least day, if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Egg day today. Not doing the cart, so we will see how sales go. I will put out my "dummy" egg cartons and hope to have customers. I will wait for the bell. I must have sold too many ahead of time, since I don't have as many this week.

Well, Maw, getting your DH into a kilt might be a challenge, but he certainly sounds like the perfect candidate! Serious Highlander sounding!

Do you have your light in the coop on a timer? With the daylight time getting shorter, we have ours to be on till 12am we are going to increase it to 2am and get a heat lamp out there. I been told if they have more light and are warm they produce more often. Don't know that to be a fact

What a horrible dentist!

I'd report him to the Better Business Bureau or something... making people feel like that is uncalled for and WAY over the top! What a jerk! People shouldn't have to deal with that kind of mistreatment... I do hope you find a dentist that you like.
