My creative construction will have to happen later this evening... I need to finish up my littlest ones scarf (HOT pink!), the edging to my shawl and start on my Granny Momma Hen! Then get back to taking care of WIPs!

Hey! If we can change the clocks back and forth twice a year, ya think there's a chance somewhere down the road someone will extend the day by a few hours.. there just never seems to be enough of them in a day! HAHAHAHAHA!

I'm setting up for Christmas! We are going to have pre-Holiday visit from friends we've not seen in 3yrs! I just found out: I'm SOOOO egg-citing! hee!hee!

Anyways, the dishcloth came out REALLY nice! I love making them - instant gratification! And they last for years!!

Ok.. gotta get back to decorating! Will try and take a pic of my crocheted Christmas tree.. right after I figure out how to make it look fluffy again! I made it last year.. finishing on Christmas Eve, so this is the first year of having it up to beautify the home front! hahahaha!

Holy cats my chicks are NUTSO! We are giving them a bigger brooder tonight and I think it will be a big hoot. We will be able to see them better and my mom was saying that we should put the thing under the tree. I said "YEAH! Then the chicks can roost in the tree and we won't even need to decorate! (The new brooder is more like the nursery - it's a round dog kennel play pen thing that we are going to be adapting. It would actually fit really well under the tree.

Everyone does sound so busy. I have been busy running around like a no brainer, trying to get errands done and then trying to convince my grown up chickens outside that snow is really not a torture device. LC, I will try to get snow pics for tonight.
I need to lock myself in a room to get my crochet projects done. I don't know how you all do it. I am going to get going so I can hide some things before DD gets home.

Oh that would be the coolest christmas tree with the lil chicks roosting in there if only they didn't leave their own gifts under the tree for you to clean up that would be perfect! Every time you walked in the room the "ornaments" would have rearranged themselves. lol

I would love to do that with the chicks. Or at least put some kind of plastic festive tree skirt down. Not sure I want to change 27 diapers!
