Sign up now and get a jump start on making your squares.

Another request that Mawchick would like in addition to the rules that Scrambled has posted above is that each participate find a way to mark each of their granny squares w/ username to make it easier for her to sort.

I promise to post a pic of how I labeled my granny squares for the last swap w/ my avatar pic.

Hope every one is having a great weekend.
I'm heading out to the garden to do a little crocheting outside. I have the babies out there in a tractor. I think they think my yarn is very long colorful worms. LOL!!!!!!

When I was "in deep" into quilt block swaps, the easiest way I found to sort the blocks was if each block was in a sandwich size ziplock bag with a label on the bag....just a suggestion. Many would then put all the baggied blocks into a Walmart (or other store) bag before putting into shipping envelope. That way, if something happened and the envelope got torn, the blocks were protected. Just an idea...

Last time I handled the swap and everyone sent the completed sqaures to me and I sorted them and divided them and sent them back to everyone..I would assume Maw will do the same..we will send them to her and she will sort and send back..the sandwich bag idea is good...Kim, Smitty's Farm made some cutie pie tags with her avatar last time..they have to be marked that was the one downfall last time..I tried to make a corresponding list but that was a flop ....so yes..figure a way to mark yours..doesnt matter how.

I sent you a pm about the button thing

What I mean here is the $ for the return shipping to us after the blocks are swapped?? How is that handled?

Welcome Amy!!!!!

For the last SWAP we just sent the $$$ for postage in along with our completed granny squares. I think Scrambled meantioned that the pay one price boxes were easiest. Was that right Scrambled? Don't remember?????? I guess Mawchick will clue us in when it's closer to deadline time for what she wants????

Scrambled did an awesome job organizing the last swap, don't let her fool you.

She made an organized list of who made what squares and cordinated it with the stack of granny squares that were sent back to us.

My problem was that I laid the squares out so many different times trying out so many different combos that I forgot who made what square.

I'm just sentimental and would like for my old brain to be able to remember who made what.

I attached my avatar pic to each of the granny squares I made to help mark them for easy sorting. It was really quick and easy to do.

Edited b/c I forgot to add that I'm not sure how everyone else packages their squares to send in the last swap, but I put all of mine in a huge zip lock bag to protect them like your plastic bag idea. I truely can't remember if I put them in a padded envelope or Priority Mail Box to mail them. I have CRS Syndrone! LOL!!!!!

Here's a button graphic I created for the swap! You can put on your blog or your site to show your participation in the swap, if you like.

Please don't just copy and paste my link to your site. That will use up my bandwidth, please don't do that.

Save the image to your computer then upload to your site and then link it to the swap thread!

Enjoy!!

I'm so glad eveyone likes the swap graphics!

Thanks for the Round Ripple pattern! That's the one I had finally settled on, but yours is so pretty, I didn't realize it's that same pattern.

I've picked out my pattern for my blocks and am ready to get going!
