BYC Forum Performance Issues - Do you notice anything odd?

Hey All,

Just doing a spot check to see if you are noticing any change in performance on the forum.

Are pages / pictures loading their normal speeds?

Anything odd happening when you try to load pages / post replies to topics?

If you've noticed anything odd, PLEASE let me know

1) Exactly what is happening
2) When it started happening
3) If it has been off and on or consistent since it started

I noticed it running extremely slow last night - I mean so slow that I thought my browser had locked up. It's still a bit slower than normal this morning, but not horrible...

It was slow trying to refresh the list of recent posts. I don't think I did much posting last night.

I noticed the same thing as Arlee... really slow yesterday. Just seemed to be slow opening up and navigating from one post to another.

I also thought it was my computer or ISP.

Anything odd happening when you try to load pages / post replies to topics?

Sometimes when I try to reply to my PM's, I get a message telling me I have to wait 60 seconds between posts. The only thing is, if it's the first post I've made, I shouldn't be having to wait! It only seems to happen when I hit the wrong link when wanting to reply to it.​

I always send PM's and when I go to hit "SENT" in the PM box it says I havent sent anything.

The "Sent" folder isn't active. No one can see what PM's they've sent.

You can see what PMs you've sent, but you have to check the box to save it before you send it.

Let's keep this to the topic of performance if possible.

Again, I need detials in the questions below to do any decent troubleshooting (it's like the difference between telling a doctor I'm in pain vs. when I bend my middle finger on my right hand when it is cold outside it hurts for about 10 minutes)

I too noticed it yesterday, really SLOW, I thought it was my computer.

This is a problem that I have had all along. When I send a PM it often will tell me to wait 60 seconds, when I haven't posted any messages previously. This happens about 25% of the time.
