Whether you’re a chicken newbie, a seasoned flock master, or just here for the laughs, we’ve got something for you! From “What Chicken Breed Are You?” to “What Kind of Chicken Parent Are You?” and more, our quizzes are designed to entertain, educate, and maybe even surprise you.

Here's what we're planning:

• We'll be posting fun quizzes regularly.
• Some quizzes will even be featured on the BYC homepage, newsletter, etc.
• You'll get to test your chicken knowledge, discover your chicken personality, and maybe learn a thing or two along the way!

We want your ideas!

After the quizzes have run for a while (2-3 weeks maybe), it would be fun to know the overall stats. For example on the chicken breed, how many are Leghorns, Australorps, Silkies, etc.

Maybe an idea could be what feather pattern are you, e.g. splash, mottled, columbian, laced, etc.?
Other personality quiz ideas:
If you were a chicken, what would you do if you came across a predator?
If you were a chicken, what bad behavior would you do? (eat eggs, cannabalize, not go to bed at night, etc.)
What is your fashion style based on the breeds you like?
Favorite color based on the breeds you like.
What personality and what breed would your chicken soulmate have/be?

Quiz idea, based on my actual life.

I'm testing out a new nest box and asked my husband if he'd (as a chicken) want to lay eggs in it, and what bedding would pair best.

So a fun quiz would be something along the lines of "Where would you lay eggs?" In the coop on a pile of straw? Or out in the woods in a hidden nest? Would you like privacy curtains and some of those dried herbs sprinkled about? Or are you the type to just drop an egg on the ground in the run?

Where would you prefer to live if you were a chicken?

Just some ideas to accumulate answers/a result.
Q1 flock size: the more the merrier …. A large group to be able to recognise each and every chicken, … maybe 10 to know everyone’s character … just a few friends is fine … I rather live alone
Q2 rooster: no way… max 1 for 10 hens .. just 1… rather not in my backyard
Q3 coop &run/free range :
a huge coop with large windows to look at the world … a moderate coop and a huge run with no roof to live safe and have scratch time all day …. A big coop and a big roofed run, so I won’t get cold and wet. … a small coop and free range in unlimited space. .. a tractor and live like a gypsy with fresh grass every week.
Q4 where do you like to live: : big city- small town - suburban- village - country - protected community- wilderness
Q5 what kind of a house you like to live in: flat, an old house in a cozy street, modern villa, a farmhouse with no neighbours.

Result could be: wooden prefab in a hoop coop run - the Mulligan - converted shed with attached run space - Nestera & free range - farm/stable - …

I prefer the result from most A, B , C … because the averages (15-20 points) lead too much the same answers.
