I finally staked my tomatoes last night and they are a big mess! I planted the started plants next to wire fencing ( 2 x 4) openings but I guess it wasn't enough support so they twisted around on themselves. It's a weird tangled web of shoots and leaves. What can I do to manage them? It even looks like the offshoots have offshoots. One offshoot starts on one branch only to merge onto another branch, as if it forms an upside down A.![]()

Well, once their a big mess its pretty hard to fix it with out cutting/trimming... So now I steak or cage them right away, they still turn into a mess... I need to run string from the cage or steaks up to my greenhouse ceiling now so I can tie them to that... Had a big brandy wine flop over yesterday, trying to fix it...![]()
