Yay! So while curing it outside... What do I have to worry about? Are bugs gonna eat it?! I know my chickens will!!!! Hahaha

I finally staked my tomatoes last night and they are a big mess! I planted the started plants next to wire fencing ( 2 x 4) openings but I guess it wasn't enough support so they twisted around on themselves. It's a weird tangled web of shoots and leaves. What can I do to manage them? It even looks like the offshoots have offshoots. One offshoot starts on one branch only to merge onto another branch, as if it forms an upside down A.

Well, once their a big mess its pretty hard to fix it with out cutting/trimming... So now I steak or cage them right away, they still turn into a mess... I need to run string from the cage or steaks up to my greenhouse ceiling now so I can tie them to that... Had a big brandy wine flop over yesterday, trying to fix it...

How do you decide which parts to cut/trim?

Well I couldn't deside so I left a total disaster... Probably lost a lot a fruit over that desission.... Prune out the suckers and anything on the ground that won't stand up for you. If you have space you could probably get your cuttings to grow... I'm going to trim some of my plants soon, and try to start the cuttings, despite have zero space for more plants...
I'll take pics, maybe we can learn something...

Prune 'em, Chick. They're just calling out to be organized. Rosey,I've also got unidentifiable things growing where I planted something else.
