Understandable. There's the pine rattler in the southern part of the state, but not up here. So... no poisonous. But, I will tell you that even the common garter snake will bite, (when harassed) and when it does, it leaves a burn that lasts for weeks, at least that was my experience.

Yeah. I see. Lucky to not have poisonous snakes though.
 
I prepped a whole mess of red tomatoes to make sauce that will probably end up like a marinara. I guess that's gonna be dinner, and I'll probably freeze the rest.
Tomorrow I have a mountain of green tomatoes that will be made into some kind of spicy salsa thing. I just haven't found a recipe that I want to kick the tires on yet.
