I came across a beside the road while walking the dogs. It has tomatillo-type buds, a white flower, and alternating leaves. My phone won't upload the pic. I thought it looked cool. Found some species yarrow and what I think is called "little blue stem?" Lance like leaves with tiny blue flowers.

ETA: not blue stem. It's called "blue-eyed grass."

Corn and beans are sprouting, pumpkins are taking off, peas are taking off, and carrots are coming up. Planted some organic onions that had sprouted before I could cook them and they're taking off now. Garlic is going well and I'm assuming the radishes are sprouting alongside the carrots.

Today was alternately sunny and rain down pour. I think I can hear the veggies growing. Getting 2 good stands of carrots. First planting of pole beans starting to run. Lettuce is at that perfect tender stage. Oh how I love this time of year. A promise in every leaf!

Gorgeous! Is there anything you CAN'T grow? You have quite the green thumb!

I agree they are gorgeous!

It seems most people on have a green thumb and grow everything so beautifully.
Thanks! Actually, I'm having a really hard time with peppers, they just don't want to go for me

Dan I have no idea why your peppers don't want to grow.

I planted a jalapeno pepper and now I can't find it.

I think it got swallowed up by one of my tomato plants.

My tomato's are finally starting to turn red! The epsom salts I put on them 2 days ago worked!

This Atkinson tomato plant is huge and is loaded from top to bottom all the way around!
I tried to take a pic and it's not the best, it's kind of dark at the bottom but you can still see the tomatoes.
