I planted some pinkeye purple hull peas back at te end of July (around the 29th) and they have flower buds! But everything I've read says they should take 65/70 days to maturity.

I have ordered seeds of 20 of the hottest and rare chili peppers know to man so I can try to get a little business started next year for plants, salsas, and seeds. I have been trying to make better use of my 3 acres, and I really want to expand my gardening skills.
Sounds good. Good luck.

Cucumbers? If so, the long English or Japanese cukes are my favorite. Few seeds, no need to peel, and they make great Chinese cucumber salad. They don't "talk back" to me after eating them either!

They look wonderful Dan!

I think he said luffa .

I harvested some sweet potatoes, they didn't do as well as I'd hoped but thats partially my fault, at least I'll know what to do for next year.

Doesn't look like a bad harvest. I've got some growing in a pot that I planted really late in the season last year. It's just starting to put on new shoots again now as we are coming in to spring. Not really sure if I should dig around and see what I find or leave it to have a whole season growing from now.

So what will you do differently next time?
