I just split a plastic pot & wrapped it around a sprig that was still attached to the plant filled it with dirt & kept it watered. Use a clear plastic water bottle & you'll be able to see the roots. I tried on several occasions to braid sprigs & root them but there was always one that didn't take.

Has anyone ever rooted rosemary?
I've done it in the past, but without much success. The easiest plant I've rooted is mint, it's ready to plant in just a couple of days.

That's a great idea!

Asparagus vexes me
I may try, rather than from seed, to buy some roots and try again....
Sorry about the drought

The first time I planted Asparagus I used 2 year old crowns, that year they looked great. The following spring 5 out of 35 came up! When I dug some up to see what was going on, there was some kind of little grub thingy on the roots. Whatever it was came with the crowns. I waited several years & replanted from seed, only one bed instead o two. They kinda failed a little every year for four years. Got tired of messing with them, no grubs though. Too bad my wife & I both love the stuff! Thanks! The drought is tough! Hopefully, it will turn around this fall & winter.

Started summer & winter squash, cukes, basil, & winter savory yesterday. Gotta get some Okra seed. Can't believe with all the seed I have, I don't have enough Okra. Although it pains me to do so, I'm gonna buy pepper & Eggplant plants cause I'm getting such a late start. Using volunteer tomato plants, so it's gonna be a complete surprise as to what I get. How come eggplant & pepper plants aren't as cooperative when it comes to volunteering? I haven't planted Morning Glory for 10 years but still I get volunteers.

Nice!

Lol :lau yeah I know what you mean.

Re-potted the rest of my chilis today. They're about 8 weeks old (since planting the seeds) now.

If some of these don't start dying off soon, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Tomatoes went under a stronger growlight today too, but I didn't re-pot them yet, as it's only been 2 weeks since I planted them. First true leaves started showing about 3-4 days ago. I also received a new grow light on warranty, and they packed in some extras.
