@vehve

Gonna get the wicks set up today.

We had a bumper crop last year, but we have a long growing season here. I was concerned with chance of breaking the stems when planted those last year.

My issue is too much rain and no real break in the rains for at least another week. Ground is saturated and don't foresee being able to work the garden soon :(

Quote: Thanks so do I. I have got to dig up some daffodils bulbs by the house and move them out by our fence to add some more color out there.
Sounds like ya'll are getting everything ready for spring. That is wonderful! I hope your new fence will last eons and keep out all the unwanted critters!
I am really not planting much just so busy with turkey and hatching and brooding takes up so much time.
We tore down an old quarantine pen and are putting up a new fence along the end of the driveway to keep the cows from destroy our pear tree. They grab a hold of limbs and pull them down to eat the pears and it is doing so much damage.
I just planted my little 4x8 raised bed and a couple of pots this year.
I would like to grow some Blueberries and I am working on it still. I planted some other berries in the mean time in some pots along with some Nankin Cherry bushes.
I hope your DH gets the blueberries planted and has a great edible garden for ya'll!

vehve I love the wick watering your doing! Great time saver.

I should get some herbs started too. I just made wicking pots out of some tin cans, I'm going to start the herbs in them inside and once it gets warmer, I'll put them on the gutter I installed on the bunny hutch, they should grow nicely there.

I just dried a buncha parsley the other day the plant has doubled it's production since I harvested anyways I want to gather up some oregano the plants have taken off and can use a punring before I plant the tomatoes and other things in there plus I think I might transplant a couple of the oregano patchs out of the raised bed and pl;ant it in another bed as well
