This is my 11 or so year old peach tree I started from seed, it happens to be the only (outta three) peach that made peaches this year (well not exactly true, one of my dad's peach trees he got from a nursery a few years before I planted mine has one peach on it) which is awesome cause two years ago I thought it was going to die, when I was pruning it and discovered there were only about three main branches that were alive.

Dan your peach tree looks good. Mine is about 1/2 that size and it is 4 1/2 yrs. old. I did not get pics today it has rained all day. I will though. :)
I would like to do that. But I would like a good apricot to graft on one and I don't know what I would graft them onto yet.
Thanks! Ah, It rained a lot here too.

My dad has an apricot, it started to die so it suckered, the suckers turned out to be peaches

That is why it died . Apricot and peach are delayed incompatible . They always fail in time . Fruit cocktail trees are usually a scam . The Nurseries selling these really small ones are not even grafted .
Best to graft your own . Use a plum rootstock if you want apricot on it .

It didn't die, its still fruiting and that was three years ago

Only trees I got growing are seeds from grocery store fruits! XD Planted the seeds from a lemon and three avocado pits. No telling if that's what they'll end up as though!

I am currently growing some dragonsblood palms. I love the resin but wanted to grow the tree as an interesting indoor plant more than a crop.
