Only trees I got growing are seeds from grocery store fruits! XD Planted the seeds from a lemon and three avocado pits. No telling if that's what they'll end up as though!

I am currently growing some dragonsblood palms. I love the resin but wanted to grow the tree as an interesting indoor plant more than a crop.
Oh nice! I have some grapefruit seedlings

It didn't die, its still fruiting and that was three years ago

I was talking about the apricot part . I made the mistake 30 years ago of putting plumcot onto peach seedlings . Got large enough to fruit and then failed . The peach rootstock grew and had fruit for years . I knew about the incompatible part with peach and apricot but assumed the plumcot being half plum would be ok .

We also got a hazelnut and a chestnut tree already on the property. Monster-in-law owns the store and apartmnt we live in and the surrounding land (acre of property in all) so I've got Golden Bantam corn, cornichons, and all kinds of veggies going. I'm hoping to get some wild European strawberries going and some herbs going too.

So am I, the original apricot is still fruiting along with the suckers (really should move those this winter)

I am not familiar with "Cornichon". Can you tell me what this is? I planted 12 row golden bantam this year. Second planting is coming up now.
