NICE harvest. Looking like you grow lemon cucumbers. I think they are so good. I may try to do some up as pickles next season.

I am wondering what kind of pepper the large red one is though. Looks like it will be tasty.

That is either a Carmen or a Marconi (I think the latter, actually). It's an Italian sweet.

Bell peppers are giving me fits this year, but the Gypsy peppers are making for a nifty substitution.

And, yes, LOVE me some lemon cucumbers. They're never bitter, but you've got to make sure they don't stay on the vine too long or the seeds get hard shelled.

I have a watermelon growing! It has a way to go though. Still smaller than an inch.

I only planted one lemon cucumber so am watching every last one lol. I really enjoy them since they are not so large and yes NEVER had a bitter one.

Thanks for the info on the pepper. I am expanding the gardening area next year and want to grow more peppers.

I didn't know about corn meal either. Good to know. And some of the harvest photos are phenomenal. I've been trying to upload but am not getting something right. I'm not getting a huge harvest but enjoying tomatoes, green beans, snow peas, and broccoli. I'm reworking my plans for next year.

Heres a pic of my cuttings I took early this spring, I'm not home to get a better pic but I thought you might like the one I have

Besides the pomegranates and the plum/cherry there are about 10 fig cuttings

Heres what they looked like in june, just about 2 feet tall, now they are closer to 3 or 4 feet tall

It's been awhile and some of my herbs have died due to a 50 hour week work schedule and no time for all that lol. BUTTT! I got my first tomatoe and have 3 more growing strong. My basil plant is beautiful and bushy...still have very tiny leaves for basil thoo...and omg..my purple potToes have taken over. They killed the pumpkin plant, in there defense it was kinda wimpy anyway, and are climbing all over the ground. Thankfully I have a pumpkin plant growing where I had smashed a pumpkin last Halloween for the chickens to eat lol. At least pretty sure it's a pumpkin plant. No fruits yet but the stalks are hearty..a little too big to wrap a hand around.

My mango plant it growing strong. It loves the extreme hot days and no shade. I'm scared for bringing it in for winter...gonna repot that sucker soon so it can thrive

Next year I'm gonna do the mulching method and possibly hay bale method. Anyone need some mulch? I have a mulching buissness that gets it very cheap and will price match!
