Has anyone ever tried crossing a pumpkin with a zucchini, and then planting the seeds? I crossed my zucchini with a male pumpkin flower, and I want to save the seeds for next year and plant it, see what comes out of it.

I found out that cinnamon is a natural thing that kills/prevents mold. Just thought I would share. Now, it might just be me that never knew that, and the rest of you are saying, "didn't you know that already?"

Finally harvested my purple sweet potatoes! Only got 3 but one is huge!!!

I used a burlap sac and buried the potato eat the base and as it grew I covered it with more dirt every week just leaving the leaves out. The burlap sac eventually fell over but it kept growing strong. I think I'll use double burlap and a wider base next year

Yum, the sweet potatoes look good. I have yet to harvest my white potatoes and don't know how they did. I've got to do something with all the produce in so far.
