@Rose Quartz you've done something like this, what are your suggestions?
What i have in my egg chart for brown i figured aout approximately have it worked made up my own thing and said somewhere that its just made up. If you know its recessive you could put in

green/green pearl/pearl and write down that they arent real genotypes but it is possible to get those traits

Or you could do what im doing with the pink egg shell color leaving it out entirely and just putting in a foot note that it is possible to get those traits but it isnt fully understood so its being left out of the calculator.

Wow. That first sentence i dont even understand 5 min. After writing it... sorry im pretty tired... i fell asleep yesterday 5 min after getting home. Still on the road now.

Lets try this again....

The brown egg shell color. I made up my own. I didnt put what i created into the genotype column just to be clear that it wasnt an official genotype.
I also made a note to that effect.

You could make your own if you are sure of how they work. or leave it out of the calculator and add a note that it is possible to have those colors show up.

Hope thats clearer.

green eyes Br+/Br+, green/green*, Pearl+/Pearl+*, Pk+/Pk+
bay eyes Br+/Br+, Green+/Green+* ,Pearl+/Pearl+* Pk+, Pk+
Pearl eyes Br+/Br+, Green+/Green+*, pearl/pearl* Pk+/Pk+
Brown eyes br/br, Green+/Green+*, Pearl+/Pearl+*, Pk+/ Pk+
Pink eyes Br+/Br+, Green+/Green+*, Pearl+/Pearl+*, pk/pk
*these are fictional genotypes representing the recessive genes for pearl and green eyes. The color of an eye can also be affected by id+, the dermal melanin gene, which can darken the eye. E, ER, and patterns such as barring affect the color of the eye.

(Only problem is, I don't know what you get when a dark brown chicken is dominant for pearl or green. Or when a chicken has.... green and pearl genes and pink genes. Bro, no... :0 )

Pearl is wild type? Is it possible green is pearl with the dark coloration?

I realize i may just be making stuff up here. :p

No. Pearl is recessive, so Pearl+/Pearl+ would be wildtype?
Green pops up in bay eyed chickens. I know because my Buckeyes have had it. It is SO annoying. I forgot to add pink. Will edit.

I thought wild type meant its what wild chickens would normally have.

White shells are wild type. Brown and blue are mutations

Wild chickens have bay eyes.
Bk+/Bk+, Green+/Green+, Pearl+/Pearl+, Pk+/Pk+

So all plusses. Pearl+/Pearl+ is dominant over pearl/pearl, the recessive gene. Pearl eyes are a recessive gene. They need two recessive copies to express themselves. Pearl+/Pearl+ has neither.

Uhhh... so Pearl/Pearl is basically a pearl color inhibitor in your set up? Same with green?
