I do not do well with mysteries!!!!
I do believe it would be easier to read that way. For instance:
Row 39: (K1, P1) 3 times, K2, P2, K9, (P2, K2) 2 times , P3, (K2, P2) 2 times, K2, P5, (K1,P1) 2 times , K1
Since there are several rows that break the ribbing border pattern I do not know if I would mess with ** though. You could try it. Something about keep first 5 and last 5 stitches of rows in rib border. Except of course for the rows you did not.........It would not start until row 6 I believe, and excluse rows 46 and 50. Also, is the BO in knit or purl or in pattern?
You are doing great!
