i think a knitting page would be great, i have a lovely pattern for a chicken i can post when i get back home,
but to be honest i can see this being more popular in the winter when there is not so much wok to do outside

Here are some of the things I knit in the spring and summer months, easy and funtional, I love these. I also have some cotton knitted hand towels that i knitted

Thanks, I have more stuff and i am currently working on a new sock that i am combining all sorts of different pattern to get all the features I want..Pics to come...

Everyone seems to be really cracking on with their knitting projects...

I was working on a cardigan in a lovely copper coloured yarn, only to discover that the pattern in the book was wrong

To cheer myself up I went to "play" with my stash - and I discovered enough brown and green yarn to knit 2 more cardigans

Plus I found 2 balls of mustard yellow yarn - if I combined those with the leftovers from the other 3 cardigans I could have a striped cardigan too

So, I've been busy solving the pattern problem and think I have it worked out now... But then I realised I've never done any striped garments before and had no clue how to match up the sleeve stripes to the main part stripes

I've decided to either knit thicker stripes on the sleeves and thinner ones on the main parts or vice versa (thin on sleeves, thick on main parts)... I just can't figure out which will look best! The ribbing and button/buttonhole bands will both be in the chocolate brown yarn...

Any thoughts on the striping anyone??
