The bantam Golden Sebright/bantam Cochin is the first out, early this morning. The rest are taking a break, I guess! My avatar is Goldie Hen, the bantam cochin mama.

Seven pips so far, only one is a DBH. And he/she is moving in there! The bantam is so tiny, it astounds me!

Ohmy goodness!! Cute cute cute!!!!! I have fourteen in the 'bator that are set to hatch friday 4/3, but have one pipping now!

Whoa! That is waaay early! Are they bantams? Apparently bantams do hatch a bit sooner than 21 days. Also, is your day count right?

Thanks Opa and Bock, I am almost biting fingernails- which I have never done!

The other babies are outside for the first time, with a heat lamp- all 17 of them! So I'll probably stay up all night, going from incubator to the "great" outdoors, to check on everyone!

I "might" have an addiction problem...............
