hey there - western mass here, hampshire county. . . lotsa different breeds, way too many for the land we have, according to town, but they seem super happy. free ranging most of the time and laying like mad.

I know lots of people in western mass, but they dont seem to be on the forum. Many are legitimate farmers who've been at that so long they hardly need to talk to perfect strangers about it. Because of them, though, I've been able to learn lots faster . . .

I am also from Hampshire County & have a poodle! I wonder how he is going to react to the chicks!

I think maybe I met your daughter and got some roofing shingles from you? I still haven't finished the coop, but it is coming along...I'm hoping to get my first chicks this weekend at the chickenstock which should give me the nudge I need to get out there and put the siding on.
