I would like to see a forum that discusses the legal part of owning chickens.

IE dealing with town counsels, changing ordinances to allow poultry. I know it would be nice to see how others have gotten laws changed, what laws are out there to use as a sample to get changes made.

I definitely think a forum or at least "Newbies Start Here" area of stickies would be great. There are so many questions that get repeated over and over and while folks who have been here for awhile are so awesome to help, I think a basic temp rundown, med vrs non med feed and when to switch from this feed to that feed, when to give treats, what to give as first treat choices, pine shavings/ substrate, when to go outside for first time, when to move to coop, etc. all those basics we all have asked at one time or another. Perhaps the FAQ could just be expanded a bit and cover that?

I do think this forum is awesome and there is only a smidgen of room for improvement because we have such a great group of members!
