That's where your strip quilting comes into good use. Sew strips together and then cut them into 1 1/2 pieces and sew them together after arranging the squares.
 
I got it! I got it! I got it! Yes I got that new Kenmore I was posting about. Picked it up last Friday. So far I've repaired several knees, made an insulated curtain for the laundry room, and a new set of curtains for my sons room. Now off to do the UFO's.
 
If I were to have a quilt made from my mothers dresses, what would be a fair price to pay to have one made and where would I find someone to make it for me? Im thinking at a double bed size.............
