The Rag quilt - not yet ragged up enough, needs another turn or two in the washer.
I also made the dress the little madam has on (straps are a little long)

Wow! I've just spent all afternoon reading all of the the posts, looking up the links that have been posted, and getting all of my quilting juices flowing!

I LOVE quilts, especially old, old ones. I love making them, too. I probably have three or four different quilt tops stored away, if I ever get around to laying out the blocks and sewing them together. LOL Right now they are all nicely stored away in a plastic storage bin under my bed.

We became foster parents last year and have had our three little ones for a year on the 17th of December. We hope to have their adoption finalized by March or April. (YEA!) They doubled our number of kids and we've spent the last year (happily) becoming a family.

That being said, I haven't had much time to indulge in the other passions of my heart.

If I say pretty please, can I join this club? I promise I'll even start finishing one of my UFO's.

Coyote Magic, the Snoopy quilts are really cute. I'll keep an eye out for the actual Thanksgiving fabric with them in character.

Hey Coyote Magic, someone posted a link to an ebay sale and that person had 4 pages of snoopy items up for grabs, including fabrics.
When I checked it out I thought I saw the Thanksgiving Snoopy fabric on it.
I also posted several links to different fabric websites that might have had something that you are looking for.

I was working on another denim quilt and then I was asked by my kids to show them how to make a rag quilt. So here it is 6 hrs. later from start to finish................................My girls love it, now they all want one.

I selected the fabric for the throw...

2nd--I cut 2 of each square ( I think for each I had enough for 10 squares from each of the 6 fabrics I used...( I had enough for 60 squares...120 pieces total)

3rd--I cut the batting just a tad smaller than the fabric...

4th--Place the batting between 2 pieces of fabric...

5th--sew each square from corner to corner...

6th--finished square...

7th--sew each square together to form a row...

8th--Once you have sewn all the squares together and the quilt is finished you can then take a pair of snips or scissors and carefully clip the raw edges...

Finished Front.....

Finished Back.....

Now I have 3 more to make

I am so glad my girls are as frugal as me.

They even want me to make some for family and friends for Christmas.

I only have like 10 days to make how many.......!!!!!!
