Oh wow, thank you so much for the kind words!

I did really love making them, they were such a challenge. From the idea to figuring out how to pull it together. There were so many steps involved that it kept my interest.

I stopped making them when I started teaching. Most of my creativity and problem solving went into coming up with fun projects for my students and I'm afraid it didn't leave much left for my own work. Now that my teaching time is less, and I am thinking about giving it up altogether next year, I am beginning to get some of that drive back.

Thanks again for all of the positive feedback, it's been awhile since I showed those to anyone!

After looking at Angie's beautiful quilts I'm kind of embarrassed to post my little Snoopy quilt. I'm making one for each season as a wall hanging. Posted my Easter and Valentines before. This one is St. Patrick's Day.

Some of the fabric pieces I dyed, some were commercial fabrics, and the boys were painted using fabric paint then stitched onto the quilt. The fabric paint I used has a fairly soft hand.

That's an adorable wall hanging, Coyote, perfect for St.Patrick's day!

OK Quilters! I need some advice! I have quite a nice assortment of swap blocks from the Quilted Rooster Yahoo Group swap recently. I want to add fabric between all of the blocks to make the quilt larger. I'm stumped to come up with an appropriate color that will look OK with the rainbow of colors! Any and all input on fabric ideas would be much appreciated!!
