One of the reasons I got interested in quilting because my foster momma and all her home demostration club and a bunch of ladies quilted all the time. I had too stay out of the way. Then when I was about 20 something I went too a town and saw a quilt shop and walked in and there was man quilting on this huge big machine. He said he made lots of quilts and sold them all the time. So I really got interested. I remember my momma selling quilts too Tammy Wynette(I think was her name) and some other country music singers. I have this friend that said she sent blocks out too every President that was in her lifetime and got them too sign a block and then she did that with all the governors of each state. She said all signed them and sent them back and never asked a question but one and he only asked what was she gonna do with the quilt when she finished. I have only seen pics of them because she lives so far away. I was thinking the other day that it would be nice too do a signature quilt of even this group. But I wouldn't even know how too start that. I want too do a picture quilt of my Red Hat group I have here. I want a lot of things don't I?
