BYC Spring 2009 Quilt Block Swap Signups CLOSED BLOCKS IN MAIL 4/17

WOW, wish you hadn't done the extra expense, no one would have minded the wait at all I'm sure..heck my blocks will go in a plastic bag until whenever I can get all my other obligations done to do anything with them anyway. I certainly understand the goober at the post office...brother to the one I had I would imagine!

Well I was a little lucky, my FIL came up to see us and he gave me some money. So it didn't come out of my pocket. I didn't want everyone to be waiting. NOW they just better get there on Saturday. LOL

Oh goodness....overnighting wasn't necessary. I have no problems waiting, as I have a few that have said they are running a bit behind.

AND my postman will be really sad bringing it to my door tomorrow in our blizzard.

They are at my PO. I just found the orange slip in my mailbox. I guess he didn't bring it to my door because of the 2 feet of snow blocking the walkway.

I'll get them tomorrow.

You don't get a lot of snow in TX do you Amy? Do they are trucks to plow the snow?

I was in TX once when my daughter graduated from basic training in San Antonio many, many years ago. We went on a boat ride on some small river. I really like it down there.

We are way up in the Texas Panhandle, close to Colorado. We do get snow every winter here, but it can vary from an inch or two to a foot at one time.

There are snow plows, just small ones that only come out a couple of times a winter.

SanAntonio is GORGEOUS....that was a gondola ride on the Riverwalk. Very popular tourist attraction and loads of fun!
