I know some find it creepy, but it is a useful tool.

I just realized it might be handy to see if someone you tagged bothered to look.

MASSIVE KUDO's Y'all!

I finally bit the bullet and tested the search function...... to be able to search inside a single thread for a specific word. FLAT AWESOMENESS.

I know every forum has a few folks that "always" tell newbies to use the search function... and yeah, they all work pretty good; yes you can search all or specific forums or child/sub forums for a given thing but, I have not seen the ability to narrow into a single thread before.

I really like the tab and drop down boxes in the search window......

What happens if I click the gear... hmm, nothing because as soon as I started typing this post, all my tools came dark again and seem to be working properly again. They had been greyed out but now are normal, and they work. Phht! More gremlins! i can bold, italic, underline. What I can't do is strikeout. . It doesn't seem to be an option. But i'm happy with what I've got. So, whoever fixed it, thanks, yer awesome! ❤ What I meant tosay is, I didn't even need to click the gear. It was just fixed as soon as I started typing. And now I have a South Joisey accent so go figure! Edit: psst, thank you to the Godfather of fixin' stuff, whover he is, wink wink!
