Question
Once they are fluffed up, can they go in the brooder even if it's only been 12-14 hours since hatch?

Yes, as soon as they are fluffed they can go into the brooder. However, if there are other eggs still hatching, pulling the chicks out could cause issues for the hatching chicks.Question

Thanks! They all hatched last night. I went ahead and moved them just now.Yes, as soon as they are fluffed they can go into the brooder. However, if there are other eggs still hatching, pulling the chicks out could cause issues for the hatching chicks.
Chicks can stay in the incubator for atleast 24 hours without food or water because of the nutrients they absorb right before coming out of the egg, if this is your concern.
I had 14/15 chicks hatch. 12 of those 14 are perfectly healthy, but 2 of them got pushed around when they were trying to hatch and got stuck in the egg. So my husband helped them after +24 hours of them trying to hatch by themselves. So now I am up to 38 chicks sitting in brooders right now.We have chicks!!! So far 5/15 have hatched this morning.View attachment 4049162View attachment 4049163
