I was on a bit of a hiatus and was planning on at least getting through the holidays first since it’s been crazy around here but then I missed everyone

And thank you! I could never stop cause I love everyone too much.

And besides, the first literally half of my time on here (like 7 years) I didn’t even have any birds

And I WILL get more eventually. So of course I will stay!

My dad originally had said I could bring them to the new house but then changed his mind so yeah.

Even worse is I will probably end up butchering all of them

Even the third generation ones from my own flock

And I WILL get more eventually. So of course I will stay!

Even worse is I will probably end up butchering all of them

Things have a way of working out even if we don’t think so at the time!!!!

I was trying to convince him to let me take them but I gave up cause I realized it’s probably for the best cause I’m only going to be over there very briefly before moving to an apartment so yeah.

It sucks though cause he’s not making it any easier. He says he loves them and doesn’t want to kill them but like…. So do I. But we have Mareks on the property. It would be irresponsible to rehome like he wants to. I guess we could make them aware of it (we’d be giving to close friends anyway if we did) and I’m sure said friends would probably eat them anyway but I still don’t like it. Even though we haven’t had any cases in a while and might be past it now. Idk. I don’t want to butcher them, they’re my pets, but honestly I think that’s the only responsible choice. But idk.

It is hard to butcher your flock! Can you give them away?
