Home from vacation and ready for these eggs to hatch! I did have an explosion to clean up when I got home...that was fun. I've had an egg explode under a broody before but never in the incubator (thanks to daily candling). The problem egg had clearly developed a bit (vein still visible in the remnants) but then quit for some reason. The other green eggs are now too far along for me to be sure if they're still developing; fingers crossed for no more problems. The remaining LCN eggs look pretty good, as far as I can tell. I'm going to have my lowest hatch rate ever with this batch, but I've never set eggs in December/January before.
