It’s a chilly morning here at 9C, all the Goldenrod is dying off, the shadows are getting long with the sun lower on the horizon here; the horses are picking at whatever grass they can find in this back paddock. The bay mare is my 22yr old thoroughbred Reenie; the grey mare is my 21yr old Arabian Truly.

Okay hands down I want to pet this regal being such a gorgeous long haired calico, I’ll always have a soft spots for my calicos
I hope she loved crunching those leaves!!

The one in front reminds me of my boy with the big mud splotch I love this photo of them
What’s breeds are they? A horse and a pony yes? Or is my depth perception off like always lol photos make horses have weird proportions, unless that’s just my weird boy and his off proportions already

Entry #1 - 2Chainz (he earned this nickname), a Thoroughbred yearling colt from the farm. I helped raise him back in 2017, this guy taught me some great reflexes while putting his stall wraps on

Missy is a sweety, she was found by a couple of our pipeline inspectors she was up behind the headlight of his truck! she was fine but she was a teeny tiny kitten. I came home from the work project with a kitten .

The horses are
Front mare is Truly, Arab, 21 yrs old
Behind mare is Lulu, Pony-of-the-Americas, 21 yrs old
Both were born here and are a couple weeks apart in age.

I also have the Thoroughbred mare Reenie she is 22 yrs old

They are all entertaining and a lot of fun
