I used to be one of them. I spent my first winter in the PNW whining under an electric blanket.

You better invest in one asap...it will only get hotter each year!

He lives in the Bay Area. It doesn't *usually* get hot where he is.

I have AC. It can get to 115* here, usually for only a week or so. My birds are feeling this heat, I went out and gave them cool water this afternoon. Dummie juveniles, won't come out of the coop.

We have one of those portable AC/Heater units. We use the AC about 10 days a year and the heater a billion days.

Ya'll all would die if you had to live if Houston, TX...just saying.
Life is not possible without AC 360 days a year here.

Not surprised. Seems like all of the mods/admins either live down south or in a temperate climate. Something in the air down there that makes good mod material?

Define "hot".

B....I am not a Mod and I don't see any others that live as south as I do.

Used to be that most of us were in Washington, Oregon and Canada. Now we're all scattered around.

I have radiant heat. Those combo units just aren't high powered enough for my climate.
