Thank you!
It works pretty good, all the options are there, but the syntax responds differently...gonna take some practice to find the best way to phrase keywords.
Are you speaking greek??

10 posts per page. GFM and PPM's had the feature of selecting # of posts per page. I used to have mine set to 50.

I've had issues with it too. It's a LOT more picky on word selection. I've found that less works better so far.
No, I mean when searching. The posts per page doesn't bother me much.

Maybe speaking 'old geek'...haha!
Syntax means, roughly, certain arrangements of words.
Can be important when using search engines.

I think I need this before I can continue..

Maybe we need two versions of BYC.. Over 60 and then one for you kids....

If you put a member's name into the search box and hit search, you'll see that there's only 10 pages displayed... Which in my case means I can't find my old posts to fix all the spelling errors....

Okay, hold the chicken tractor here...somewhere along the line, what with the eyes glazing over and the trembling hands on the keyboard I missed something else too? We can edit old posts? Because as you may or may not know, Mama Heating Pad thread has become a living, breathing thing, but the first posts introducing the concept are outdated since most of us have made a change to the setup. So I could go back to that first post, edit to add a link to the MHP page with the photos and explanation of the better, safer way to set up, and it would work???
