Oh, and know what I miss the most on this entire platform? The little "new post notification" box that popped up so you don't overrun or repeat someone else's post. Granted, sometimes I forgot to look at it, and sometimes I saw it, read the new post, and went ahead with finishing up my post and putting it up anyway, but most of the time I DID use it! I miss that little guy. <sigh>

I get one sometimes, but it seems hit-and-miss.

I get a little white thingy on the left that pops up momentarily sometimes but by the time I see it, it registers what it is, and I hustle my little cursor over there it's gone. The one I loved was the box that popped up and stayed up so you could click on it and read the new post!

And I just returned from an editing sojourn! For the first time in 2 years the Mama Heating Pad thread's first post has been edited!!! All I did was add a simple link, but it's going to clear up so much confusion for new members of the Broody Brigade! If the staff isn't real careful here, I might even start to LIKE this new platform!!

I saw that too, but what difference does it make if I do or don't mark them all as "read"? Either way they are all going to look the same. They'll either look read or they'll all look unread. <head scratcher>
 
Ugh... the sideways/undecided face emoji is gone to. :barnie

I guess if Emojis is my biggest complaint... I should just say thank you for providing the great site! If I didn't previously have it I wouldn't know what I was missing. :p

I do like this new one o_O... it's our version of the chicken eye.. "Bok" what's that, with careful investigation. And a joke in my family, when we are being nosy we say "Bok" and make that exact eye. :lol:

Oh wait there is one more I'm missing... it's the fist pounding laughter. :(

Anyways, Thank you for a still great site and resource! :highfive:

I find most gif smileys annoying as h3ll...but that one I do like.
Save it as file on your hard drive, then you can drag and drop it
gig.gif

Laptop here, sorry can't help with any other devices.
