I have got to get busy on mine but I have felt so bad lately that I have done nothing. I will get started today or tomorrow

Barn pattern#2: 1 finished. OOF. We're on vacation next week, so I'm hoping to get them finished in no time flat. I'd better look back to the first post for the final mailing date and mark it in red on my calendar.

Sounds like many of you are moving right along...YAHOO!!

I still only got the final finishing touches and will be done but have had no time to get to them.


I didn't hear about the mods saying no to any swaps what is up with that.

Does that mean the block of the months too?

I'll be mailing my Barn Blocks tomorrow.

Let me say before I see any finished block that I really appreciate everyone's work that was put into each block. I know I will cherish the quilt forever when it is finished.

This has been a great experience.

I'm not sure about that answer either Zoo...can a mod maybe answer that? Is the block of the month swap closed down too?

From what I understand from Miss Prissy this is the issue:"There are some issues arising from some of the swaps but those issues should not effect any of you.

The fall block swap was moved for the time being for several reasons. One of which is the fact that a minor cannot engage in a purchase/trade on the internet. Secondly, the quilt block swap was my baby and I asked Amy to take it over this last spring as I didn't know if I would be able to meet the obligation this spring. As I haven't had a chance to speak with Amy it is not fair to jump in and take it away from her with out consulting her and letting her know I am ready to step back in and take over the job.

Don't let rumors and heresay spread like wildfire when it is needless chatter and someone will end up hurt from the gossip. This is supposed to be fun and bringing people together to share and learn new things. So, let's try to have fun and remember if you have questions it is best to bring them to the the staff first."
